From humble beginnings back in 1984, general engineering, construction, and slope protection were Osborn's core competencies. Fast forward to 1997: Osborn was awarded a grading and retaining wall contract for Winchester Country Club and championship golf course in Meadow Vista, CA; one of seven in the world co-designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. This beautiful residential community and country club located in the Sierra Nevada foothills was the birth of the business operating today. It was the turning point when Osborn General Engineering and Construction became synonymous with Osborn Rock Walls, expanding our reach into a variety of large-scale projects. Engineering home construction pads, slope protection, and designing large-scale rock walls transitioned the company into a leading expert in those industries. We are very proud to have helped build high-end, large-scale housing developments like Martis Camp in Truckee, CA and also residential retaining and slope protection walls throughout the state.
Licensed in California, the Osborn team is confident in tackling the most complex and challenging civil projects in addition to the others. Our current projects range from steep hillside rock walls to complex national park projects and federal highways.
